  • Until 530 PM MDT.

* At 447 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cerrillos
Hills State Park, or 19 miles southwest of Santa Fe, moving north
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Santa Fe, Los Alamos, White Rock, La Cienega, La Bajada, Bandelier
National Monument, Frijoles, Cerrillos Hills State Park, Los
Cerrillos and Madrid.

This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 261 and 279.

NWS instructions: Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
